Can`t You Stay Just Long Enough to Explain?

I like the sound of rain.
It`s so nice to study along with.
Sometimes it makes an even better background music than music.
But it`s also extra restful to sleep when it rains.

So, Kiki.
Bed? Or Books? Bed? Books? BED? Books? BED? Books? BED?

Sigh.

WE`RE ALL INTHIS TOGE-...

DAMNATION.
I haven`t been able to rid meself of that stupid song since four teenyboppers named Violet, Boon Hoe Hohoho, Kiki & Izzy bopped off to Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil, armed with cotton candy and blingy fedoras to watch:

The stage set up was pretty damn good. I could hardly recognize the stadium with it neatly covered in velvety curtains and a shiny, shiny ice rink.
The show itself was a blast of bright colors in all forms of lighting, props and costumes. I kid not about bright, very intensely reflective sequined costumes! They were spotlights by themselves.
I liked the basketballs scenes. Kinda reminds me of Stomp. Other than that, HSM isn`t much to awe about.

The recorded singing were a disappointment. I thought musicals are...live shows, with live singing, live dialogue, live dance. Oh well. They sure can skate & dance though. Bagi credit la. Yours truly cannot skate to save her life. Ok, I can but I take a while. A long, long while to start...rolling/gliding. I CAN however, Slip `n` Slide exceptionally well!
My experience on the rink in Sunway Pyramid always involves me being ushered out of the rink JUST when I`m warmed up & feel safe enough to pry my fingers away from the sidelines. *sigh*
Does that happen to anyone else out there? Please someone raise your hands!...Please?

Hoe-hoe-hoe!

Ah, guess who should I spot working under Big Events that night?
None other than...
My cousin. CJ. "Cee-Jay".
See, I finally remember!

Izzy et moi.

Nigga please.
Quote Nicole Chen: "Niggerrific!"

Nigga V stole ma ring.

"I`ve got claws and you don`t!"
"I`ve got grills and you don`t!"

Off teo supper with V`s `rents, Zy walked home & the rst of us were dropped home. End night.

Okehhhh..Peace out?
Yah bye.

You clicked your heels and wished for me

It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
'Til it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye
Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never been this way before

All you can do is try to know who your friends are
As you head off to the war

Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light
You'll come back when it's over
No need to say goodbye

You'll come back when it's over
No need to say goodbye

Now we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too Doesn't mean that you have to forget

Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
'Til they're before your eyes
You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say goodbye

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say goodbye

For me, this song is about a love that grew accidentally when two people were probably too scared to admit and they linger on, keep putting it off until they never have the chance to admit.

I think the lyrics are simple, but they're so deep and hell, they cut.

Heck. I`m turning this into a bleeping pessimistic blog. Here, rainbow!

Bye bye.

OH fine, because I like it so.

I wish you were a stranger i could disengage

To think that all that time I spent thinking of you up there, amidst all that fog and chill;
Yet little did I know we were both closeby
With no knowledge of each other's presence.

I miss you.

I miss you I miss you I miss you.

I wish I could blurt this out in person. Bother.

The Almost MAA post

Why "almost", you ask? To cut a long story short, a bunch of us kena tipu by one featherheaded girl. Might not have occurred to her that she can lie to her college mates, but she can't trick MTV's ppl. Jeezus.

So Saturday started with the bus ride from OU to Genting. Khairil & I caught up on recent news on the way. Alric met us at the Skyway and walked us back to the apartment. The fog was so thick when we walked out that when I asked Alric where our apartment was, it totally looked like he was pointing into a space of white nothingness. Ashikin's mom had us stay at her company apartment at the Kayangan AND chaperoned the entire bunch of us rascals. A whole lot of hushed discussion on the MAA entry letter situation between Dila, Ashikin & a few others. While that was rolling, most of us just lounged around the apartment. You should've seen the amount of Maggie mee and Cintan mee lying across the kitchen counter! Bald shiny heads guaranteed from all that ajinomoto, I swear. Oh and it took me a while to recognize Louis as the Louis from Rhema and Trina's blog. Whoops.

Maggie cup, Maggie packet, Cintan cup, Cintan packet. You name it, we got it.

Shortly after that, we headed off to the Pavilion where we met Clement and some of his family. His aunt and uncle tried talking to the security ppl but to no avail. Louis and Josh pandai-pandai managed to sneak into the Pavilion, followed a group of people to the red carpets, only to be booted out because "We dropped our wristbands lah!" LOL duds.
We tried our luck again at the outdoor entrance to the red carpet but despite all attempted explanations, the lady couldn't give us any help with the situation. *Insert tears and a bit of yelling through the phone lines.* Clement and family headed back to KL and just so we didn't waste our journey, some of us decided to just hit the theme park.

Every ride we took had something to remember.

The Sg. Rejang Boat Ride
- Alric and Kenny the Swede singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat; But they rocked the boat, literally, instead.

The Top Swing
- Some Hokkien Beng who sounded like he stepped right out off I Not Stupid's movie set.
And Alric yelling "Make it stop!". A LOT.

The Corkscrew
- Kamal's choochootrains of "OH SHIT! OHMYGOD! FUCK!". Adoii.
- Alric ditched us for his bag of roasted chestnuts. Lousy la ko nih.

The Pirate Ship
- A very friendly little girl from Karachi, Pakistan, invited me to sit with her at the very back seat of the ship. Little girl told me she was on her fourth park ride all alone, lives in a big bungalow, that the ride was tickling her tummy (hee so cute!) and that's her brother standing beside Khairil.
- OH and there was this woman who'd fallen asleep on the pirate ride with her mouth open. She looked like she was about to BARF all over the people sitting directly opposite. Eee-yuck!

Dinner/pre-dinner at McD`s where Alric, who went sesat earlier, finally re-joined us. Went back to the apartment againto wait for Ashikin to come back from the MAA`s. All sorts of gadgets flashed out then MP3 la, iPod la, camera la and of course, sweeeet sexy Susan...the Macbook. HOLYMOJOJOJO. I said it before and I`ll say it again, Josh's Macbook makes my iBook look like a fat b*tch!

Louieee-oo-ee-oo.

is pretty in pink.

After burning time taking funked up swirly photos on playbooth, Shikin balik, and then we went to Starbucks. I bumped into DonMichael there. Seemed almost like everyone was in Genting. Khai & I split from the group to meet up with Jia Yang & co. up in their First World Hotel room.

They wanted shisha, so Shafiq took us one BIG ROUND walking uphill and downhill the main roads outside when we coulda just walked through the sheltered and staircased walkways. Muthertoot. My legs still ache like heck. Ow (?)

We got to Genting Hotel at last, only to be blocked off from Spice Garden by the MAA`s afterparty. We had to belakang jalan to get to Spice Garden. And as I was saying, half the universe was up in Genting. This time though, it was Sarah Sebastian & co. we chanced to meet!
I wasn't half sure it was her til Jings texted me after Sarah texted. Making any sense? SMS`s flying from Genting to KL to Genting to KL again. DIGI & Maxis good business man.

Sarah & co. joined us up in the hotel room after a bit. They brought their own hookah!...but ran out of flavour. So we got bored and...found a very good uhm....model. To uhm...channel our...creative energy...so to speak. =.=

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the making of Capt`n Khai Sparrow!

All hail Steph`s wunnerful pitch black, black, blaaack waterproof eyeliner!

"Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the prettiest of 'em all?"
*cue You're Beautiful by James Blunt*

Picture of the night with our victim!

After the girls left, we all bunked in for the night at 4am to get our butts back to the apartment at 10am the next day. Packed up, said our g`byes , then Khai and I scurried off to catch out 11.30am bus......

Which. We missed.
By 2 minutes. Doooooh.
We had 10 minutes to kill before the next available bus boarded. And in that time I had the lousiest mexican bun on the face of this planet! It was cold, had a damp texture and and wasnt even filled full with butter. ICK!

Finally, we boarded the 12.30 noon bus and made our way home. & That just about wraps up my weekend. I feel like my head's about to explode so I shall scoot.

So long, farewell, adieu.

Pop Goes the Cheeseballs!

So recently, Zhip stumbled upon The Daring Bakers' blogroll and found cheesepops which are basically cheesecakes on sticks! Now how awesome is that? Bite size cheesey babies. Whoo.
So we met up on a fine Saturday, zipped out all our kitchen weapons (mixers DO look like guns lah), yummy ammo and voila, Cheeezpops were born! Sugar, no spice, but yes, everything nice.

Parvinder couldn't make it coz apparenlty her mommy won't let her out. BUT she still ended up phoning us from Bake with Yen telling Zhip that she was gonna be baking anyways coz her entire family gone googooga over her suggestion for muffins. So much for studying Chem, Parv! xD

Oh right, here's what happened throughout our little bake off.

Clockwise from top left: 1. Adding heavy cream. 2. Separating yolk and white. 3. Prepping the water bath before baking the cheesecake batter. 4. Fresh, smooth cheesecake. YAY!

Whilst we waited for the cheesecake to bake, we dyed the wooden chopsticks, like so.

The part where we had to spoon the cheesecake into balls was most messy.
And then the frozen cheeseballs kept unfreezing every 2-mind-busting-minutes! @#$(#*
A very scrumptious mess though!

Because we like ot act like greedy misers.

And on the following Monday, Zhip brought the lollies nicely packed in her icebox.
Oh yeaaah.
ICE CREAM GIRL! *rrrrrrr-ing*

ACK!
CHEESECAKE MURDER!

MY FAVO. Oh also decorated by meself, of course la favo. Nyehehehe.

Eeeny-meeny miney-mo. Matt is very good at choosing cheesepops. This boy managed to find out that almost exactly resembled himself - a HUGE cheeselolly on a thin thin stick.
Reminds you of anyone?

Mmm. Fin.

So long, pretty girl.

Hi y'all. This is Kiki super-multitasking.
I'm just in from the stables. I saw a horse die today. Alia's horse, Tiffany. Am still trying to digest that scene AND dinner AND rushing to finish up my Chemistry reports. Emphasize 'S'. Haiyo.

I'm not one for superstition and whatnot but I reckon Tiffany waited for Alia to come home and see her canter once more before she left for good. 25 long years of friendship.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
